Handcrafted in George, South Africa, each platter is individually shaped using Wonki Ware’s signature slab-drape technique. The distinctive pattern is impressed into the clay by hand before being finished with a rich colour wash. No two pieces are ever identical — subtle variations in shape, tone and brushwork are part of the charm that makes Wonki Ware so distinctive.

From the smallest ramekin to this striking XL platter, every piece passes through multiple stages of moulding, shaping, smoothing, drying, firing and hand-finishing on its journey from clay to table.
