Cancellation Policy

At Eclectic Gifts, selected items may occasionally be offered as a pre-order. This means the item is not yet available for immediate dispatch, but may be reserved or purchased before it arrives in stock.
We do not currently offer subscription products or try-before-you-buy purchases.
Pre-orders
When you place a pre-order, you are purchasing or reserving an item that is not currently available for immediate dispatch.
The estimated arrival or dispatch timing will be shown on the product page where possible. Please note that pre-order dates are estimates and may change due to supplier, courier, customs, or other delays outside our control.
Payment for pre-orders
Depending on the item, we may require:
- full payment at checkout; or
- a deposit or partial payment, with the balance payable before dispatch or collection.
Payment terms will be confirmed on the product page, at checkout, or directly with you before the order is finalised.
Cancelling a pre-order
You may request to cancel a pre-order before it has been dispatched, collected, or specially ordered on your behalf.
If the item has already been dispatched, collected, or specially sourced for you, cancellation may not be possible and our Returns, Exchanges & Refunds Policy will apply.
Delayed pre-orders
If a pre-order is significantly delayed, we will do our best to notify you and provide an updated estimated arrival date.
Where appropriate, we may offer you the option to continue waiting, choose an alternative item, receive store credit, or request a refund.
Specially sourced items
Some pre-order items may be specially sourced or ordered specifically for you. These items may not be eligible for cancellation, return, or exchange unless they are defective or incorrectly supplied.
Where this applies, we will make this clear before confirming the order.
Subscriptions and try-before-you-buy
Eclectic Gifts does not currently offer subscription products, recurring billing, or try-before-you-buy purchases.
If this changes in future, this policy will be updated accordingly.
