When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase the selected products. An order is only accepted once payment has been received or authorised and the order has been confirmed by Eclectic Gifts.

We reserve the right to accept, decline, cancel, or amend an order where necessary, including where an item is unavailable, incorrectly priced, incorrectly described, or where we suspect fraud or misuse of our website.

If an item is unexpectedly out of stock, we will contact you to arrange a suitable alternative, delayed delivery, store credit, or refund.

6. Prices and payment

All prices are displayed in South African Rand unless otherwise stated.

Prices, promotions, and discounts may change without notice. The price charged will be the price displayed at the time your order is placed, unless there is an obvious error.

Payment must be received or authorised before an order is processed or dispatched.

Payments made through our website are processed by secure third-party payment providers. We do not store your full card details on our systems.

7. Gift cards

Eclectic Gifts gift cards are redeemable against eligible purchases from Eclectic Gifts.

Gift cards are valid for 3 years from the date of issue, unless a longer period is stated or required by law.

Gift cards may be used in full or in part. Any remaining balance may be used towards future purchases before the expiry date.

Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash and no cash change will be given.

Gift cards are not refundable once purchased, except where required by law.

Eclectic Gifts is not responsible for lost, stolen, damaged, or unauthorised use of gift cards.

Gift cards may not be used to purchase another gift card.

Where a purchase made using a gift card is returned and a refund is approved, the refund may be issued back to the original gift card or as store credit.

8. Shipping and delivery

Shipping and delivery are handled in accordance with our Shipping Policy.

All delivery times are estimates and may depend on your location, courier availability, public holidays, and events outside our control.

Eclectic Gifts is not responsible for delays caused by courier companies, incorrect delivery details supplied by the customer, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

9. Returns, exchanges and refunds

Returns, exchanges, and refunds are handled in accordance with our Returns & Exchanges Policy.

Items must meet the return conditions set out in that policy. Sale, discounted, final-sale items and gift cards cannot be returned or exchanged unless they are defective or incorrectly supplied.

Selected items may occasionally be offered as pre-orders or specially sourced items.

Estimated arrival or dispatch dates are estimates only and may change due to supplier, courier, customs, or other delays outside our control.

Specially sourced or pre-order items may not be eligible for cancellation, return, or exchange unless they are defective or incorrectly supplied. Where this applies, we will make this clear before confirming the order.
