Wonki Ware is handmade ceramic tableware created in George, along South Africa’s Garden Route. Founded by Di Marshall, the brand began as a small pottery studio and grew into one of South Africa’s most loved ceramic names.
The name came simply from the character of the pieces themselves — plates and bowls that were beautifully “wonky”, organic and full of life. Each piece is shaped, painted and glazed by hand, giving Wonki Ware its unmistakable charm and individuality.

Every Wonki Ware piece is crafted by skilled artisans, making each bowl, platter and plate unique. Slight variations in shape, glaze and finish are part of its beauty.
